Pedicure At Home in 7 Simple Steps

The feet may become unhealthy, dull and rough with daily wear and tear. Dry air, Dirty shoes or sandals and many other things can affect your foot hygiene and the appearance of your feet. A healthy foot is known to be a symbol a well groomed person.

 

Step 1:

Prepare your tub containing hot water where you will do the soaking. Always pick a comfortable space so that you can relax while your foot soaks up the hot water you can use whale pedicure chair for ease.

Always make sure to clean your nails first of any remaining nail polish and wash them with cold water. Apply feet soak in the water and make bubbles while stirring it with your foot. If you don’t have a foot soak, a sachet of shampoo should do the job for you.

Step 2:

Place your feet on a towel and let them dry and apply cuticle softener on each nail

 

Step 3:

Cut and shape your nails, but always be careful. The use of a foot soaks is to soften your nail so you can easily cut and shape them. Then use a nail file for shaping.

 

Shaping Nails:

Always make sure to file your nails in one direction so they won’t split.  After using the file, nail use a buffer to smooth the edges of your nails.

 

Step 4:

Since the cuticle softener has been there for more than 5 minutes, now is the ideal time to take care of your cuticles. Use a cotton ball or a tissue to clean the cuticle softener from the bases. Keep in mind that cutting or nipping cuticles may be risky for those individuals who are not accustomed to it. It’s best to simply push the cuticles back. You can get a cuticle pusher at any beauty store and numerous companies they have them in different shapes and sizes. Use the slanted side to delicately push the cuticles back.

 

Step 5:

Scrub your feet. Use a scrubbing stone and scrub away all the all the dead skin. The feet soak has softened your calluses and corns.  You can use a corn cutter to cut the corns.  Using a scraper to scrape away all the dead skins on your heels is optional. So use these tools if you know how to use them properly.

 

Step 6:

Use a brush or a  nail scrubber and scrub it over the nails, the bristles of the brush will clean your nails. Make sure to to this right to get the right results.

 

Step 7:

Use a foot scrub and Gently scrub your whole feel up to your ankles. Don’t forget to scrub the ankles of your feet where sometimes there is a lot of dead skin.

 

Step 8:

After Scrubbing apply a massage cream on your feet and gently massage it. Give it a little time and then wash your feet dry.

 

Step 9:

Use a foot cream if you have cracks on your on your foot. Gently massage your foot. And let the cream soak in your feet

 

Step 10:

Here comes the best part. Use your favorite nail paint color on your nail and paint your nails. Always make sure that the base coat comes first and wait for it to dry. Then the nail paint also wait for it to dry.
